On Sunday, April 10, Adrianne Ahdoot ’12, Sasha Engleman ’12, and Shaina Sarafian ’12 will be hosting the first annual Hoops for Israel event.
Students from grades 9-12 will pick teams of three and battle on the court in a short three-on-three basketball game. The final winner of the tournament will win Los Angeles Lakers tickets.
Tickets for those playing are seven dollars and five dollars for those who want to watch their friends and enjoy Menchie’s frozen yogurt and pizza.
The proceeds will be going to the Friends of Eliyah foundation, which raises money for Israeli Children under the age of three with visual impairment.
“It’s a day where students come together to help a great cause while having a good time,” Sarafian said.
Contact Ahdoot, Engleman, or Sarafian for more information and to buy tickets.
